Veristream

Clip payouts based on numbers from the platform, not screenshots

Veristream verifies creator clip performance against the YouTube, TikTok and Instagram APIs, checks every clip against advertising rules, and produces payout runs with an audit trail that can be walked back to the source.

How it works for a creator

  1. Step 1

    Connect an account

Sign in with YouTube, TikTok or Instagram. That authorization is what lets Veristream read your own numbers directly from the platform.

  2. Step 2

Your posts are found for you

Veristream checks your connected accounts for new posts every few hours. Attach one to a campaign in a click; nothing is submitted without you.

  3. Step 3

    Numbers are read, not reported

View counts come from the platform API on a schedule, so a payout run reads a verified series rather than a figure someone typed in.

What Veristream reads from your accounts

Connecting an account grants read-only access. Veristream never posts, comments, messages, or changes anything on your account, and reads only your own content.

YouTube

Read: Channel name and ID, your list of uploads, and the view, like and comment counts on the videos you submit.

Why: To confirm a submitted clip is yours and to record its view count from YouTube rather than a screenshot.

TikTok

Read: Your display name and account ID, your list of videos, and each video’s view, like, comment and share counts.

Why: Same purpose: prove the clip is yours, then read the numbers your payout is calculated from.

Instagram

Read: Your professional account’s username and ID, your media list, and the views and reach of the posts you submit.

Why: Same purpose. Requires a business or creator account — Instagram publishes no metrics for personal accounts.

You can disconnect any account at any time on your profile page, which deletes the stored authorization. To remove your data entirely, see deleting your data.

Verified and self-reported never mix

A number read from a platform API is labelled verified. A number typed in by hand with a screenshot attached is labelled self-reported, and is excluded from payout runs, fraud scoring and dashboard totals. The two are never added together anywhere in the product. That distinction is the reason to connect an account: it is what makes a clip payable.
